As these films are found, happy full lives that existed behind closed doors are seen for the first time. Couples whose love spanned many decades are documented in films of vacations, dinner parties, and intimate moments. Along with these personal moments, footage of political and social movements also highlights the need for conservation of this material and the struggle to save them before they are lost forever.
